Mail Delays Expected in SW Michigan as Grand Rapids Post Office Gutted Last Weekend

Grand Rapids, MI (Blossomland News) - Fox 17 (WXMI) News out of Grand Rapids is reporting that sorting machines have been pulled out of the Grand Rapids post office which sorts mail for most of Western and Southwestern Michigan. Michigan Court of Appeals upholds Gov. Whitmer's emergency actions

Lansing, MI (Blossomland News) - In a nearly unanimous decision the MIchigan Court of Appeals has bucked a challenge of Whitmer's powers during the COVID19 crisis brought by the Republicans in Michigan Legislature. According to the appeals court and lower court ruling Michigan's current state of emergency related to COVID-19 is lawful under the Emergency Powers of Governor Act of 1945. The case is now likely headed to the Michigan Supreme Court.
